- WHAT KIND OF PHOTOGRAPHER ARE YOU?
I specialize in lifestyle photography specifically newborn and maternity.
- DO YOU HAVE A STUDIO?
No. I'm a traveling lifestyle photographer.
- WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN STUDIO & LIFESTYLE?
The difference between the two styles is that I use professional lighting equipment, I pose baby in positions that are appealing and take time to achieve, and I focus on styling and providing extensive set-ups to meet your requests. My editing style is much more extensive where I go in on each photo and make sure everything is pristine. A lifestyle session is lit by natural window light, the backdrop is your home/nursery, and I don’t provide any set-ups. Everything is completely natural. The editing style is light and natural as well.
- DO YOU PROVIDE BOTH SERVICES (STUDIO & LIFESTYLE)?
No. I only offer lifestyle.
- WHEN IS THE BEST TIME TO BOOK?
The best time to book your newborn session is in the second trimester after you've found out the sex of your baby. This guarantees your little one will be photographed by me since you reserved your spot early.
- WHEN DO WE SCHEDULE THE SESSION DATE?
After your baby is born I have you or your partner contact me within the first few days to schedule the time and day!
- WHEN IS THE BEST TIME FOR THE NEWBORN SESSION TO HAPPEN?
Anytime! That's the beauty of lifestyle. :) The first month is the best to capture those little details though. If you were unable to book until later, you can always contact me! I love photographing older newborns.
- WHAT IF MY BABY IS ALREADY BORN AND A LITTLE OLDER?
PLEASE STILL REACH OUT! If I have openings I will NEVER turn away a baby session. Even if the baby is much older I will modify the session to make sure to still capture all those sweet details and do my best to provide amazing photos for you to cherish forever.
- DO I HAVE TO PAY THE ENTIRE SESSION FEE AT BOOKING?
No. You pay a non-refundable retainer to hold your spot upon booking. The rest of the fee is due before the day of your session.
- MY BABY HAS BLEMISHES AND/OR FLAKY SKIN. DO YOU EDIT THIS OUT?
Yes. I lightly smooth skin, even out skin tone, and edit out any scratches, lighten flakes, and blemishes as a default. If you don't want this please let me know and I will go lighter than normal.
- HOW LONG DOES A SESSION LAST?
A session lasts anywhere from 1 - 1.5 hours.
- HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE FOR ME TO RECEIVE MY IMAGES?
My turnaround is up to 4 weeks.
- DO YOU DO BABY AND FAMILY?
I do! Siblings and family are always included.
